Extremely Moving Youth Society (EMYS) is a non-profit organization founded in 1999 that provides pre-professional dance training to 40 Yukon youth in grades 5 to 12. Dancers train a minimum of two hours daily, five days per week.
The 2017/2018 season consists of 38 students in three levels: Rise (Junior Pre-Professional Group), Focus (Intermediate Pre-Professional Group), & Fly (Senior Pre-Professional Group). Thank you to our Artistic Director, Andrea Simpson-Fowler and to our funders for making our program a success.
